We carefully manage our tutoring service and client engagement. We offer a range of services from personalised subject tutoring, remedial and extension work as well as examination and scholarship preparation.
How we select tutors
We have a strict policy of only contracting elite tutors.
Elite tutors are not only high achievers and field experts. They are individuals hand-picked by us for their intuition, interpersonal communication, organisation, and ability to empower students.
To be an Avivo Elite Tutor, you must have:
- 40+ study score or field expertise
- Understanding of Victorian curriculum
- Current Working with Children Check
Becoming an Avivo Tutor means...
Reliable Weekly Hours
As Avivo is a term-based tutoring service, you are always allocated the same students each week. This allows you to build rapport and means you have consistent hours.
Maintain Your Studies
Many Avivo Elite Tutors are current students completing undergraduate or graduate degrees, so we always do our best to accommodate exam timetables and assessments.
Support & Community
We regularly bring our tutors together for coffee catch-ups and team bonding events. Part of our mission is to create a supported environment where tutors thrive.
